Henoch schonlein purpura in adults: a case report

چکیده

We describe a case of young adult female with Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) presenting cutaneous and gastrointestinal manifestations. Biopsy revealed leukocytoclastic vasculitis in the skin. Steroid therapy led to initial resolution symptoms followed by relapse rashes subsequent introduction azathioprine. HSP is most common childhood uncommonly seen adults. Early recognition disease, especially atypical age group, as our patient, appropriate intervention can mitigate disease limit organ damage.
